Background Story

300 years ago, the Oni from the Oni Domain opened the Rasho Gate and launched an invasion on this once peaceful land. In an instant, chaos ensued, and the inhabitants were plunged into darkness.

In order to restore peace and rebuild their homes, two heroes emerged – one became the Supreme Ruler of this new land, known as the Samurai Daimyo, while the other protected the country from the shadows, never to be seen by the public again.

In the present, the ruling Samurai class has succumbed to greed and decadence, plotting to bring the Land of Sunbreak to the edge of war and fearing the power of the Ninjas. Furthermore, the once-sealed Oni are stirring up trouble.
